Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure their safety and comfort
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation and companionship to brighten their day
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe living environment for residents
• Document care services accurately and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach with a genuine desire to help others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative care team
• Willingness to undergo background checks and comply with facility requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of resident care best practices and infection control protocols
• Strong observational skills to detect changes in resident condition
• Ability to lift, move, and support residents using proper body mechanics
• Great time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Cultural sensitivity and respect for residents from diverse backgrounds
