Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs accurately
• Support residents with mobility and transfers
• Provide compassionate care and companionship
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and report changes in condition
• Maintain a clean and safe environment

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to lift and transfer residents

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care techniques and safety protocols
• Skill in taking vital signs and documenting patient information
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Empathy, patience, and understanding when working with elderly residents
