Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians
• Position patients accurately and ensure proper radiation safety protocols
• Maintain and operate radiographic equipment following manufacturer guidelines
• Assist radiologists during procedures as needed
• Document patient history and procedure details in the medical record
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times

Qualifications

• Active California Radiologic Technologist license
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Must be willing to work potential strike assignments (dates TBD)
• Ability to pass background screening and drug test

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in X-ray imaging techniques and positioning
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Problem-solving skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
