Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Women's Emergency Room
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with ANA standards
• Provide expert LDR (Labor, Delivery & Recovery) support in an emergency setting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to emergencies

Qualifications

• Active Rhode Island RN license required
• Minimum 1-2 years of LDR experience required
• Willingness and ability to work in a Women's Emergency Room setting
• Current BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, and NIH Stroke Certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in EPIC electronic medical records
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to assist with patient lifting, transfers, and transport
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
