Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, day schedule to be confirmed upon assignment
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $172 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive radiation therapy planning and quality assurance to ensure precise treatment delivery
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and dosimetrists to develop and optimize patient treatment plans
- Calibrate and maintain radiation equipment including linear accelerators and imaging systems
- Conduct patient-specific dose measurements and verify treatment accuracy
- Participate in radiation safety programs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide technical expertise and support to the radiation oncology team
Qualifications
- ABR Certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics is required
- BLS certification is required
- Experience with EPIC and ARIA RadOnc is highly preferred
- Ability to obtain Idaho state licensure prior to start
- Completion of a CAMPEP-accredited medical physics residency program is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in radiation therapy planning and delivery systems
- Strong understanding of radiation dosimetry and treatment planning algorithms
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with quality assurance and safety protocols in radiation oncology
