Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing function
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises

Qualifications

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Illinois
• BLS certification required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills in speech therapy
• Experience with both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred
• Proficiency in documentation and electronic health records
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
