Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in the Cardiovascular Lab
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Communicate continuously with physicians regarding patient condition
• Assist with maintenance of equipment and inventory, ensuring procedure room readiness
• Obtain supplies for individual cases and support the Cardiovascular Laboratory team
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nursing (RN) license in New Jersey
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications upon hire
• Minimum one year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• DCI/BVP certification required

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care and hemodynamic monitoring
• Cardiovascular lab procedures and critical care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to assess and respond to patient needs in a surgical environment
