Shift Type: Rotating weekends and holidays, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with on-call requirement (one night every 2 weeks, one weekend every 6 weeks)

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields during surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and surgical team by passing instruments and supplies
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of surgical instruments
• Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies
• Document patient care and surgical procedures accurately in EPIC
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency surgeries

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• DCI/BVP certification preferred
• EPIC experience mandatory
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
• On-call availability required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
