Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, lab results, and telemetry data
• Administer medications and manage complex IV therapies
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Support and educate patients and families during critical illness
• Respond to emergencies and code situations with confidence

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa or compact license accepted
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and rotating weekends/holidays

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Proficiency in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage high-stress situations calmly
