Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; call rotation every 3 weeks and every third weekend

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Monitor patients during procedures and administer medications
• Assist physicians with catheter placements and device implants
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
• Provide patient education and support before, during, and after procedures
• Document patient data accurately and collaborate with the healthcare team

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Iowa
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1-2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred
• Ability to take call and work weekends as scheduled

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and equipment
• Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Team collaboration and adaptability
