Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with options for 10-hour and 12-hour shifts; mids starting at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons across CVOR, total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures
Prepare and maintain sterile fields using Cerner Surginet documentation
Collaborate with the OR team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
Respond to on-call needs for weeknights and occasional weekends
Support trauma, ENT, neuro, and lung cases with precision and professionalism

Qualifications

Active Surgical Tech certification or license
Strong hands-on experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine cases
Proficiency with Cerner Surginet EMR system
Ability to take 1-2 weeknight calls per week and one weekend call per month
Comfortable working in a fast-paced OR environment

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in CVOR procedures including CABG, valve replacements, and lead extractions
Familiarity with Phillips telemetry monitoring
Knowledge of ortho, neuro/spine, ENT, and trauma cases
Strong sterile technique and instrumentation skills
Ability to adapt quickly to varied surgical specialties
