Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule with weekend requirements based on unit needs

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Monitor and manage patients with conditions like CHF, COPD, diabetes, and post-surgical recovery
Administer and titrate drips including Heparin and Cardizem under protocol
Collaborate with CNAs and the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Float as needed to support hospital-wide patient care excellence
Read and interpret telemetry strips to support timely clinical decisions

Qualifications

Active WA or Compact RN license
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of acute care clinical experience
Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and limited drip titration

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry and cardiac monitoring
Medical-surgical nursing across diverse patient populations
Isolation precautions and infection control
Palliative and end-of-life care support
Team collaboration and effective communication
