Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult patients with cardiac, vascular, and respiratory conditions
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage arterial lines with confidence
Collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver excellent patient experiences
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level care standards
Support patients from diverse cultural backgrounds with empathy and clear communication

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Competency in arterial line management
Strong cardiac monitoring and drip titration skills
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher
Valid driver's license for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

PCU nursing with cardiac monitoring expertise
Drip titration and arterial line management
Strong assessment and communication skills
Flexibility to float between units and adapt to feedback
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on patient experience
