Location: Baudette, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care across both MedSurg and ER settings
Admit, discharge, and transfer patients while coordinating seamless care transitions
Titrate critical medications and manage complex drips including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed
Start IVs, manage PICC lines and ports, and respond swiftly to codes and traumas
Interpret telemetry strips, perform EKGs, and monitor patients using Mindray equipment
Collaborate with hospitalists and the care team in a close-knit, independent environment
Follow EMTALA regulations and coordinate flight transport for higher-level care needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum one year of ER experience strongly preferred
Comfortable working independently with minimal staffing support
Experience with Meditech EMR and strong clinical assessment skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in titrating drips and managing critical medications
Skilled in telemetry interpretation and emergency response
Strong IV and vascular access experience including PICC/Ports
Ability to float between MedSurg and ER with ease
Excellent communication and independent decision-making skills
