Surgical Tech - CST
Location: Kearney, Nebraska
Start Date: 06-01-2026
End Date: 08-31-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with one weeknight call per week until 7:00 AM the next morning and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub in on a variety of cases including cranial procedures, orthopedic trauma, and total joint replacements
- Prepare the operating room and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for each procedure
- Collaborate with surgeons and the care team to deliver safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Handle neuro-trauma call with confidence and precision
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and facility policies
Qualifications
- Current CST certification preferred
- BLS certification required
- Proven experience scrubbing orthopedic trauma and total joint cases
- Ability to independently perform cranial procedures
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Expert scrubbing skills in general OR, neuro, and ortho trauma
- Familiarity with DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
- Comfortable using EPIC electronic medical records
- Quick response time for 15-minute call requirements
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and support the team as needed
