Roles & Responsibilities

• Clean, decontaminate, and inspect surgical instruments with meticulous care
• Assemble instrument trays and packs with precision - every tool in its perfect place
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, documenting every cycle to ensure safety
• Collaborate with surgical teams to guarantee the right instruments are ready when needed
• Maintain inventory and supply levels, keeping the department stocked and running smoothly
• Follow strict infection control standards to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active CRCST or CSPDT certification required - show us your expertise
• Previous sterile processing experience is a big plus
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and health screening
• COVID-19 and influenza vaccination required, along with other health requirements
• A keen eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to patient safety

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection prevention practices
• Familiarity with AAMI and OSHA standards for sterile processing
• Understanding of medical terminology and surgical instrument identification
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and handle on-call duties
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with sterilization tracking and documentation systems
