Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure all surgical instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained
• Assemble and prepare instrument trays for surgeries
• Operate sterilization equipment and monitor cycles
• Document sterilization processes and maintain logs
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure supply availability

Qualifications

• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST or equivalent)
• Current BLS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in sterile processing
• Knowledge of infection control standards

• Knowledge of sterilization techniques
