Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process
• Provide compassionate education and support to patients and families from admission through discharge
• Administer medications and perform treatments accurately and safely
• Document thoroughly and communicate pertinent changes to physicians
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and ensure equipment is ready for use

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license in Ohio (must be currently active)
• At least 3 years of recent PCU or critical care experience
• Current ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required

Education

• Completion of an accredited nursing program: Diploma in Nursing, Associate degree in Nursing (ADN), or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in patient care and the nursing process
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to solve problems, facilitate resolutions, and make independent decisions
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Critical thinking and keen observation for accurate reporting
