Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing evaluations to identify patient needs
  • Develop personalized treatment and discharge plans that empower patients to reach their communication goals
  • Provide skilled therapy sessions to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function
  • Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with regulations and facility standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families to ensure holistic, patient-centered care
  • Uphold infection control and safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA required)
  • Current state SLP license (Missouri license or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Passion for helping patients improve their quality of life

Education

  • Master's Degree (MS/MA) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

  • Patient evaluation and evidence-based treatment planning
  • Speech, language, and swallowing therapy techniques
  • Accurate clinical documentation and regulatory compliance
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration and care coordination
  • Infection control and safety protocols
  • Excellent clinical problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
