Speech-Language Pathologist - SLP
Location: Danville, Virginia
Start Date: 08-05-2026
End Date: 11-04-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing evaluations to identify patient needs
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans that help patients achieve their communication goals
- Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, patients, and families to ensure holistic care
- Maintain a safe and compliant environment by adhering to infection control and facility policies
Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA)
- Current state SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligibility
- Strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills
- Experience in patient evaluation and treatment planning preferred
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Skilled in patient assessment and treatment planning
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities
- Effective interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
- Clinical problem-solving to adapt therapy to each patient's unique needs
