Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans that restore function and improve quality of life
• Document patient services accurately, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and families to ensure well-coordinated, patient-centered care
• Uphold the highest standards of infection control and safety in every patient interaction

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Current West Virginia SLP license (or eligibility) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY supervision available
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical problem-solving skills
• Passion for helping people rediscover their voice and improve their daily lives

Education

• Master's degree (MS/MA) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Expertise in speech, language, and swallowing therapy techniques
• Patient evaluation and evidence-based treatment planning
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and effective documentation
• Infection control and clinical problem-solving
