Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care on a Med/Surg/Tele unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately and timely
• Maintain a safe and healing environment for all patients

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Iowa or compact state
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg/Tele experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to start a 13-week assignment on 09/06/2026

Education

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable with fast-paced, high-acuity settings
