Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients on a Medical Surgical/Cardiac unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and assess patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure safety protocols

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Connecticut or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience in Med Surg or Cardiac nursing preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in cardiac monitoring and telemetry
• Knowledge of Med Surg patient care standards
• Skilled in IV therapy and wound care
• Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
• Compassionate patient-centered approach
