Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, rotating weekends (every other to every third) and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor and delivery
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
Assist with deliveries and emergency procedures
Educate new mothers on postpartum care and infant feeding
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa or compact state
BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required
Minimum of 1-2 years of labor and delivery experience preferred
Circulating experience highly regarded

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in maternal-fetal monitoring
Proficiency in circulating during cesarean sections
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations
