Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Triage patients and assess urgent needs quickly and accurately
• Collaborate with the ED team to stabilize and treat acute conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Document patient care thoroughly and timely
• Offer compassionate support to patients and families during critical moments

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Louisiana
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS preferred
• ED/ER experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Triage and emergency assessment
• IV insertion and medication administration
• ECG interpretation
• Emergency response protocols
• Patient advocacy
• Team collaboration
