Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform advanced respiratory care procedures including ventilator management, airway care, and resuscitation
• Administer bronchial hygiene therapies such as IPPB, incentive spirometry, chest physiotherapy, and aerosol treatments
• Conduct diagnostic tests like EKGs, EEGs, pulmonary function tests, and Holter monitor hookups
• Maintain accurate medical records and EMR documentation
• Collaborate with the cardiopulmonary team to provide exceptional patient care in both scheduled and emergent situations

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved college or university program in Respiratory Therapy
• Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the NBRC
• Active Colorado respiratory therapy license in good standing
• Current BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, and NRP required within 6 months of hire
• Ability to perform all basic and selected advanced respiratory care procedures

Education

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in ventilator management and airway care
• Proficiency in patient monitoring and emergency response
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
• Comfort with electronic medical records and diagnostic equipment
