Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients across the unit
• Take on-call shifts as scheduled, responding promptly to patient needs
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor patient vitals and document health changes with precision
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of nursing care standards and evidence-based practices
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and care coordination
• Ability to make quick, sound decisions in emergency situations
