Location: Smyrna, Tennessee
Start Date: 08-17-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM, 3 shifts per week (days vary)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients across the unit
- Take on-call shifts as scheduled, responding promptly to patient needs
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor patient vitals and document health changes with precision
- Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
- Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of nursing care standards and evidence-based practices
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and care coordination
- Ability to make quick, sound decisions in emergency situations
