Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry readings for acute changes
- Administer medications and interventions with precision and care
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide compassionate support to patients and their families during critical moments
- Document patient data accurately and timely in the electronic health record
Qualifications
- Current and active RN license in Virginia (or compact state)
- At least 1 year of recent telemetry or step-down experience
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification preferred
- Ability to interpret basic cardiac rhythms
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and electronic charting
- Adaptable to fast-paced, changing clinical environments
