Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, flexible 12.5-hour shifts (day/night), no set schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to step down patients with complex medical needs
Monitor and interpret vital signs, telemetry, and other patient data
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
Educate patients and families on condition management and discharge planning
Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Minimum 1 year of experience in Step Down, ICU, or acute care setting
ACLS certification preferred or ability to obtain

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate patient-centered care approach
