Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 6-hour shifts, Monday-Sunday availability, pre-operative pediatric unit

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare pediatric patients and their families for surgery with care and compassion
Conduct pre-operative assessments and monitor vital signs
Administer medications and IVs as ordered
Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth patient flow

Qualifications

Current RN license in Washington State
BLS certification required
Pediatric experience preferred but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of pediatric pre-operative care protocols
IV therapy and patient assessment skills
Family-centered care approach
Ability to prioritize and multitask
