Shift Type: Flexible per diem shifts, 6-hour duration, no break, schedule varies

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to pediatric patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit
Monitor vital signs and assess recovery from anesthesia
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe patient outcomes
Educate families on post-procedure care
Administer medications and interventions as needed
Maintain a calm and reassuring environment for children and families

Qualifications

Active RN license in Missouri
Current BLS certification
Current PALS certification
Experience in PACU or pediatric critical care preferred
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of pediatric anatomy and physiology
Skills in patient assessment and monitoring
Ability to communicate effectively with children and families
Proficiency in electronic health records
Team collaboration skills
