Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible shifts as needed based on facility requirements

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized post-anesthesia nursing care to pediatric patients
Monitor vital signs, manage pain, and assess recovery status
Educate and support patients and families throughout the recovery process
Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
Maintain a calm and comforting environment for children and their families

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
BLS and PALS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of PACU or critical care nursing experience preferred
Pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred
Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of post-anesthesia care and pediatric assessment
Proficiency in IV therapy, medication administration, and monitoring equipment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient and family education
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment
