Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide holistic, individualized care for patients on the OB unit using the nursing process
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care independently under supervision
Perform general and unit-specific clinical skills with confidence
Manage supplies and equipment to ensure a safe environment
Promote teamwork with physicians and hospital staff
Maintain confidentiality and uphold hospital policies and values

Qualifications

Current RN license in Maine or compact state
Minimum 2 years of acute care experience as an RN
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Effective communication and computer skills
Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 per state mandate

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical judgment in obstetrics nursing
Ability to care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gyn patients
Team collaboration and teaching skills
Familiarity with electronic medical records (preferred)
