Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM, 3:00 PM, and 11:30 PM; 4 weekend shifts required in an 8-week period

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro rehab patients recovering from TBI, stroke, and brain tumor resection
Collaborate daily with an interdisciplinary team to create personalized recovery plans
Administer IV therapy, manage wounds, and support patients through every stage of rehabilitation
Build meaningful connections with patients and families through clear, supportive communication
Float to various MedSurg units as needed while maintaining excellent care standards

Qualifications

Active RN license with strong MedSurg experience required
BLS certification required
Rehab experience preferred
Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (2 attempts allowed)
Comfortable with high-level patient and family communication

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Strong sterile field technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Experience with neuro population including TBI, CVA, and transplant patients
Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary care model
