Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
Monitor and interpret EKG rhythms using Philips telemetry equipment
Administer non-titrating drips and manage CPAP and high-flow oxygen therapies
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support cardiac step-down and pre-transplant patients
Float to other telemetry units as needed to support hospital-wide patient care
Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR while delivering patient-centered care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Level 1 trauma experience required
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with up to two attempts
Must demonstrate competency in sterile technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
Level 1 trauma nursing experience
Cerner EMR documentation
Patient ratios of 1:3-4 based on acuity
Floating across multiple telemetry units
