Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM, occasional weekend shifts required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional physical therapy care across acute inpatient units including ICU, MedSurg, Oncology, and Cardiology
Provide specialized treatment for ventilated patients and post-surgical ortho and total joint cases
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and mobility
Evaluate and treat a wide variety of patient populations in a fast-paced hospital setting
Document care using Cerner EMR and maintain accurate clinical records

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patient care
Comfortable working with diverse patient populations including MedSurg, Oncology, and Cardiology

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy expertise across multiple hospital units
Experience with ventilated patients and ICU therapy
Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records
Ability to adapt quickly and work independently
Strong clinical skills in ortho, total joints, and cardiac surgery recovery
