End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start with variable shift lengths, plus call rotation including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $98 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist physicians as directed during a wide variety of surgical procedures
Serve as first assistant in ortho, robotics, neuro, GYN, urology, vascular, and general surgery cases
Scrub in and provide hands-on support throughout each procedure
Float between campuses as needed to support surgical teams
Respond to call within 30 minutes when scheduled
Collaborate with charge nurses and OR staff to ensure smooth case flow

Qualifications

Active RN license with RNFA certification required
BLS and ACLS certifications needed
Strong experience in ortho, robotics, neuro, and GYN specialties
Robotics experience is a must-have skill for this role
Comfortable scrubbing and assisting across multiple surgical disciplines

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Cerner electronic medical records
Skilled in robotic-assisted procedures including DaVinci systems
Knowledgeable across ortho totals, scopes, and joint replacements
Experienced with neuro spine, brain tumors, and cranial cases
Familiar with GYN oncology, hysterectomies, and robotic GYN procedures
Competent in urology, vascular, ENT, and general surgery cases
