Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during your assigned shifts
• Perform thorough assessments and develop timely care plans that make a difference
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and transitions
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly and professionally
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Support patients and families with education, empathy, and clear communication

Qualifications

• Current, active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred or available
• Previous clinical nursing experience preferred (medical-surgical or MST experience a plus)
• Ability to work independently on per diem assignments and integrate quickly with teams
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient safety

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid assessment skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Medication administration and IV skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with electronic health records and clear documentation practices
• Team-oriented approach with strong communication and handoff skills
• Infection control, patient safety practices, and adherence to clinical protocols
