Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies that support accurate, timely diagnoses
• Operate XR/CT equipment and maintain image quality and patient safety standards
• Prepare patients for exams with clear, compassionate communication and proper positioning
• Document exams and patient interactions in the EMR (Meditech/Cerner) accurately and promptly
• Follow hospital protocols for infection control, safety, and area-specific testing requirements
• Collaborate with radiology staff, nurses, and other clinical team members to ensure smooth patient flow

Qualifications

• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) verification required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) verification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of related experience (as listed in job details)
• License to submit: yes (must be in good standing)

Education

• BSN not required (as noted in job details)
• Required certifications: ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R); BLS

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with CT/XR imaging and radiology workflows
• Familiarity with Meditech and Cerner charting systems
• Comfort using clinical devices in the department such as Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell dispensing systems, and GE cardiac monitors
• Strong patient communication and positioning skills
• Attention to detail for documentation, imaging protocols, and safety checks
