Candidate Pay Rate: $48 - $33.6 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Take accurate vital signs and record them in the chart to support safe, efficient care
• Prepare patients and exam rooms so providers can deliver timely, quality visits
• Administer injections safely and document per clinic protocol
• Collect specimens (blood, urine, etc.) and ensure proper labeling and handling
• Complete administrative tasks including check-in/out and basic scheduling support
• Document encounters and tasks in EPIC (charting experience preferred) to keep care coordinated
• Provide friendly patient education and support—especially important with our geriatric population
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure smooth clinic flow and excellent patient experiences

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) is REQUIRED (MA-R, MA-P, MA-HT not acceptable)
• Minimum: 1 year of experience as an MA-C in an adult outpatient clinic setting
• Comfortable performing vital signs, exam prep, injections, and specimen collection
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• Experience or interest in Primary Care and wellness visits is a plus
• Able to work the posted 4x10 daytime schedule (Mon/Tue/Wed/Fri)

Knowledge & Skills

• Vital signs measurement and documentation
• Exam room preparation and clinical support
• Administering injections and safe specimen collection
• Familiarity with EPIC charting workflows (preferred)
• Comfort working with an adult/geriatric patient panel
• Strong verbal communication and basic administrative skills
