Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients on the Medical-Surgical unit
Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
Experience in pediatric nursing preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment

Knowledge & Skills

Pediatric assessment and care techniques
Medication administration and dosage calculations
Patient and family education
Use of electronic health records (EHR)
Emergency response and critical thinking
