Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients on the medical-surgical unit
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record

Qualifications

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience, preferably with pediatric patients
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
PALS certification preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Knowledge & Skills

Pediatric assessment and care
Medication administration and IV therapy
Wound care and patient monitoring
Electronic health record proficiency
Team collaboration and patient education
