Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Start Date: 07-18-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible 8-hour shifts, as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety
Take and record vital signs accurately
Support nursing staff by observing and reporting changes in patient condition
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment
Document care provided and patient responses in a timely manner

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Experience in long-term care or acute care setting is a plus
Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients with mobility
Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with strong communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control practices
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
