Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to critically ill patients in a 5-bed ICU
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and adjust treatments as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, physicians, and specialists
• Float to ED, Med/Surg, or Pediatrics during low census periods to support the team
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery processes
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of prior ICU experience
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state, Puerto Rico, or territory
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• PALS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• TCAR and NIHSS certifications must be completed within 6 months of hire
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

• Associate Degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in critical care nursing and intensive care unit protocols
• Proficient in ACLS, BLS, PALS, TCAR, and NIHSS
• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Adaptability to float across different units as needed
