Location: Bangor, ME

Start Date: 08-03-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (exact start/end times to be discussed during interview)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents and patients with activities of daily living including eating, dressing, personal care, and toileting
Provide compassionate care by feeding, bathing, ambulating, and performing skin care
Take and monitor vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing team
Maintain accurate records of patient intake and output
Support the orientation of patients and families to the unit and facility
Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to implement care plans and deliver prompt, accurate care
Uphold resident/patient privacy and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

Active Maine CNA License - must be currently active
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant
Ability to empathize with residents, patients, and families
Flexibility and a team-player attitude
Passion for working with long-term care residents and skilled rehabilitation patients

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient care, vital signs, and activities of daily living
Effective listening and communication skills
Knowledge of universal precautions and infection control
Ability to remain objective in difficult circumstances
Proficient in monitoring and recording patient intake and output
