Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional preventive dental care, including cleanings and exams
Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices for lifelong health
Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
Document patient care thoroughly in electronic health records
Collaborate with dentists and team members to deliver outstanding patient experiences

Qualifications

Active Dental Hygienist license in Maryland
Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Ability to work independently while being a team player

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in periodontal therapy and scaling/root planing
Knowledge of dental radiography techniques
Familiar with dental practice management software
Strong attention to detail and infection control protocols
Empathetic patient care approach
