Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM, includes call, holidays, and weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care during complex trauma surgeries in a Level 1 trauma center
Assist surgeons and anesthesia team in high-pressure operating room environments
Manage intraoperative patient safety, monitoring vital signs and sterile fields
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Respond rapidly to emergency trauma cases with precision and composure

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of strong overall Level 1 trauma experience in an Operating Room
Valid RN license in Georgia or compact state (NLC)
Strong rating on trauma skills checklist
Ability to work varied shifts including call, holidays, and weekends

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in sterile technique and infection control
Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced trauma situations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency with surgical equipment and patient monitoring systems
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
