Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care on a busy Med/Surg unit
• Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and manage IV lines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create care plans
• Educate patients and families on recovery and wellness
• Respond quickly to changing patient conditions and emergencies
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa (or compact state)
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and holiday

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in medical-surgical nursing care
• Proficient in EHR systems and charting
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
