Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse Med Surg/Telemetry patient population
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, intervening as needed
• Start IVs, administer medications, and perform lab draws
• Provide wound care, including wound vac management
• Place and manage NG tubes and feeding pumps
• Collaborate with a dedicated clinical team to ensure the best patient outcomes
• Document care accurately in the Editech system

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with IV starts, NGT placement, wound care, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Telemetry monitoring experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac rhythm interpretation
• IV therapy and lab draws
• Wound care and wound vac management
• NGT placement and enteral feeding
• Telemetry monitoring
• Strong communication and service recovery skills
• Comfortable with a 1:6 patient ratio in a fast-paced environment
