Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend; optional call

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients
Circulate during C-sections and assist with deliveries in a fast-paced L&D unit
Float to postpartum and NICU to care for grower/feeders as needed
Monitor fetal heart tracings using FetalLink and document in Cerner
Collaborate with OB techs, charge nurses, and neonatologists to ensure optimal outcomes

Qualifications

2-3 years of recent L&D/PP experience required
At least one prior travel contract preferred
Active California RN license or compact license accepted
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification (AWOHNN intermediate or advanced) required
Cerner experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in fetal monitoring and interpretation
Ability to circulate C-sections and assist in high-risk deliveries
Comfortable floating between L&D, postpartum, and NICU
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
